Recent Pokepedia Updates and Additions 2008-08-21 - UPDATE! - I've been home from work for a few days (we're flooded here in Florida - no damage here and the Pokepedia is SAFE!) but I've had a lot of time to do things. I've added the Diamond and Pearl Promos to the Pokepedia. Not sure if image links are working (or will ever work for these), but they're in there and searchable. 2008-08-20 - UPDATE! - Added Legends Awakened. Still doing some minor cleanup. If you have any corrections, please contact me on the Pokegym (I'm The Gorn). 2008-08-20 - MESSAGE BOARDS! - I took them down a while back because of all the spam. Well, I'm ready to give it another try. Use them to post suggestions and errors. 2008-08-20 - CONGRATULATIONS! - Congratulations to our new Worlds Champions - Jason Klaczynski (Masters), Dylan Lefavour (Seniors), and Tristan Robinson (Juniors). Congratuations to everyone who competed in Worlds 2008. Another great season has come to an end. 2008-07-10 - NEW FEATURE! - The Trader Base is a little underutilized, but it's a great resource. I've added the ability to print your Want list - comes in really hand at league and tournaments when you can't remember what it is that you're looking for. Make a list and give it a try! (If you (like me) have trouble remembering the set symbols, click the box to show the set symbols.) 2008-02-25 - USEFUL TIP - Wildcards - there are 2 kinds of wildcards supported by the Pokepedia - multiple characters and single characters. The wildcard for multiple characters is the percent sign (%). The wildcard for single characters is the underscore (_). So searching for "discard a % energy" will return (for example) things matching "discard a card from your hand. If you discard an Energy" while "discard a _ energy" will return (for example) things matching "discard a R energy." Play with them - very useful. 2008-02-25 - USEFUL TIP - Searching for quotes - If you're looking for text that has a quote in it (like can't) use TWO quotes in the search (can''t). |

This site is the Pokepedia. It is the most comprehensive, searchable Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) database on the web. In the world of TCGs and Collectible Card Games (CCG), there is nothing else like. Not in any other TCG/CCG. Not Magic the Gathering. Not Yu-Gi-Oh. Nothing. The Pokepedia is intended to provide a service to the competitive and casual Pokemon playing community. Among the features the Pokepedia provides is a decklist builder (for building and saving decks as well as printing out tournament-compliant decklists), an event mapper (showing leagues, organized play, and Premier Events across the United States), the Trader Base (where you can identify the cards you have for trade and the cards you're looking for and find others who need what you have and have what you need), a wide variety of information about Pokemon and the TCG (including artists and which cards they drew, Pokemon species, and evolution lines), the Pokemon Timeline (a user-driven history of Pokemon and the TCG), the Pokemon Frappr (an interactive map showing Pokemon players across the World), and a downloadable version of the Pokepedia (in Excel format). But the Pokepedia is all about the search engine. Just enter the characteristics of a Pokemon card you're looking for and the Pokepedia will find it for you. As long as there are Pokemon players, the Pokepedia will continue to provide support. Thanks and enjoy the Pokepedia.
